Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Seashore delivers what we’ve all been noisy for–more Baldur’s Gate. Although it does not significantly extend the story vein, it does provide enough new goodies to augment an already great game.

Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Seacoast provides four new areas for you to explore, all of which share the richness that made Baldur’s Gate a groundbreaking masterpiece. Players are given the chance to look into a few new islands, meeting a community of Baldur’s Gate, and prosecute in a good old-fashioned donjon crawl in Durlag’s Tower. Players can also embark on a quest that volition take them rearward into centre of Baldur’s Takings itself. These new quests tend to glucinium even more involved and challenging than those found in the initial activity, as they gravitate more toward puzzle solving than pure combat.

The extra areas are At least as satisfying as any found within the original, featuring three new types of monsters as good as new magic items, enemies, and spells, all of which are woven seamlessly into the game play. Those who are already severely involved in a campaign or have already realised the game need not begin over to take benefit of the expansion. Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Beach raises the character experience cap via at least one plane and can be integrated at any juncture during your campaign, well providing an additional 20 hours of game tragedy.

All for a Baldur’s Gate fanatic, the four new areas alone make this step-up price having. An added treat is the built-in software utility that allows players to speak to each several on the internet via microphone, giving multiplayer games a live role-playing feel. Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Steel Coast may tend to give you more of the same, but within this case, you would not own it any different way. –Joshua B. Coombs
